Well here it is folks as promised. The first annual " Manitoba Anglers/Walleye Warrior Invitational".

You dont have alot of time to sign up as entrys must be recieved before july1,05. This is a non profit derby with a 75% payout.

You and your partner must be registered members of either manitoba anglers. com or walleye warrior.com. registering is free.

payout:

1st place: 40% tournament entry fees.
2nd place: 20% tournament entry fees.
3rd place: 15% tournament entry fees.

The rest of the remaining money will cover tournament costs along with the remainder going as a donation to charity.

Camping overnight after the tournament is welcome on private land near the derby site. After the fishing is over pictures will be processed at the camping site and prizes awarded.

You are welcome to camp overnight after the derby but a donation bin will be present or passed around to cover porta pottie rentals and site cleanup ect.

The rules:

1. To be held on July, 23, 2005
2. To be held at LacDuBonnet
3. Launching from the town launch
4. Derby times are 8am-4pm
5. The cost of entry is $45.00/ team. A team consists of two people. All teams must either be members of the Walleye Warrior forum or the Manitoba Anglers forum. Cost includes fish measuring board.
6. The derby will be the following format. The combined total length of three different species, pike, perch, small mouth bass. If no one catches 3 different then it falls to the largest combined two species.
7. Verification will be a clear picture of fish on measuring board. To be taken with a digital camera. Measuring boards are supplied day of tournament.
8. Bait may be used.
9. Pictures will be judged following the end of challenge.
