Saskatchewan Provincial Record Father Mariusz Zajak of Carrot River, Saskatchewan Landed the new unofficial provincial Walleye record. The 18.3 pound walleye was landed on Tobin Lake, January 5th, 2005. The record still needs to be made official, but all signs indicate that this fish will be the next record. Zajak's walleye broke Tim Fehr's previous record of 18.06 pounds, which was caught in 1997 in the river section of the same body of water.
